What are requirements for China tourist Visa?

Dear Sir/Madam,

1. What are the requirements to visit China as a tourist?
2. How many days it will take to get the visa?

I am planning to visit Guangzhou or Shanghai to see places.

For tourism, you need to book a tour from a travel agency, and apply for a group tourist visa to China. Group application form from the said agency is required. Other basic documents are passport, photo, round-trip ticket and hotle reservation. Regular processing takes 4 working days.
