visa to china from hong kong for a kz citizen

Hello, I need to go to mainland from Hong Kong. My husband has a residence permit there. Currently I am in Malasya and I plan to go to HK very soon. Can I make a visa in Hong Kong to see my husband? I cannot find information anywhere. Note, my husband is German and as we married recently, I still did not obtain a German residence permit or passport.Please, let me know asap!Thanks a lot.Emma

Hi, you can have a try, but I can not assure if you will be granted one in HK if you are only short-time visitor there. Accoding to the regulation, you need to apply in your home country. The other option for you is applying through the travel agency office in HK airport. The processing takes few hours only.
