About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

Canadian citizen flying from Canada to Thailand through Beijing airport with 9 hours between flights

Can I leave Beijing airport for a few hours and visit Beijing? Is a visa required?

If you will go out of the airport to visit the city, you will have to get a transit visa in advance.
