About:Hong Kong Visa Application

Hong Kong Visa processing time?

HI, I am currently residing in Dubai, I want to apply for HK tourist visa from the nearest Chinese consulate/embassy in Dubai. As the website shows it takes normally 4 weeks to process it upon submitting all the required documents. Does it really take 4 weeks? because i came to know chinese mainland visa processing takes only 3 working days. Is it different with one to HK? I have already set my dates to visit and and have only 2 weeks now. Is there any other way to speed up the process to 2 weeks?
PS. ( All required documents are ready, but waiting for the public holiday to finish because the embassy/consulate closes on public holiday ) thanks.

HK and mainland have different visa regulation, your application will need to send to HK for approval. It take generally 4 weeks including delivery. You can contact the embassy for more details and ask them if they accept express service for this.
