romanian citizen working in italy

Question

I'm a Romanian citizen starting an internship in Italy.I have a planned business trip, which takes 10 days. The trip will include Hong Kong and a mainland town. Can I apply for the visa from Italy and what documents do I need? Thanks

You are required to provide the original and a copy of permanent residence or work permit which should be valid for at least half a year if you apply there, unless you enjoy visa or permit exemption for residing or working in Italy. For business trip, invitation letter from China is required.
