information about guangzhou

Question

Hi to all, I will spend one week there, for the first 3 days I will engaged with a congress untill 17.00, the last three days I will be as turist. Can someone suggest me some interesting itineraries also in the neighborhood (I'd like to visit Fushan for example)? Moreover, I'd like to buy some presents to my friends of tipical manifactures, some suggestions?  Thanks

Well, it seems you have 4 days to travel around.  In Canton, you can go to visit the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Yuexiu Park, and Shamian Island in one day. Then go to visit the White Cloud Mountain or Chimelong Resort according to your interest on the second day. The third day, you can have a day trip to Shenzhen. On the last day, you could do some shopping and have a rest. As for presents, you can buy some local products, such as Wang Laoji Herbal Tea, Canton Embroidery, Canton Enamel and Canton Sculpture.
