It takes about 2 hours by direct bus either from Luoyang or Zhengzhou. Well, you can find direct buses from either of the two cities. One thing to remember, most of the direct buses to the temple are one-day travel buses. It may take you to other attractions along the way and waste much time. I advise you take bus from either of the two cities to Dengfeng first and then take bus to the temple.
