Difficult to get Chinese VISA for a business invitation letter from Chinese company

I am Dr. Wasantha Liyanage, graduated from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) in 2009. Currently I am working as a staff grade officer in the public sector in Sri Lanka. Recently I made a business contact with a leading chinese company in Wenzhou for making a dealership between them and one Sri Lankan company managed by my colleague to import solar energy products from China to Sri Lanka. So the said chinese company sent me an invitation letter for 3 people to come to visit their company and sign the dealership agreement. Mean while I accepted an invitation from my former university in Wuhan to do a guest lecture on Nov. 09th for the students at the university during my visit in china. So today I applied for business VISA with the relavent documents for 3 of us, but the office requested a letter of confirmation from a duly authorized unit, which we do not have yet. I asked from the chinese company in Wenzhou to send the said letter, but they also unaware about the procedure of it. And ask me to apply for tourist VISA. Is it possible to apply it for this purpose, if so what are the particulars we have to submit for it? Please kindly give me suggestions.

I too have the same problem. I am looking forward to go to China for a welfare project held by AIESEC China. When I told them to prepare an Invitation Letter of duly authorized unit, they are unaware of that letter. Can I apply for tourist visa for the same course if I am unable to get this specific letter from AIESEC China?

If you were asked for this invitation letter issued by related department, you should better follow them and request this asap. The company is able to handle this from their local foreign affairs office. If you fail to provide it, your application will not be granted.

Hello I am Sri Lankan married to Chinese living here in Shanghai well regarding your business I read i understand this the problem is for Sri lankans Chinese embassy doesn't issue single entry not even 3 at least there should be 5 people. for business F application you need the letter to be authorized kind of like prove says to grant there visa this type of stamp to get its not that easy too but if the company is well-known one they can easily find the solution for this. but without the authorized letter applications will be rejected they want accept it.
