g trains from shanghai to nanjing

Question

We would like to take the fast G train for the above journey for a day visit.  Leaving around 11.30 a.mCan you tell me the time it will take on the train?and if there is a tour we can pick up upon arrival to see the sights or is it possible to do this by metro by ourselves?

Hi, the whole journey by G train takes about an hour and twenty minutes or a little longer. Actually, you can certainly take the public transport to have your visit there. But in case of missing some major attractions or for sake of transport convenience, to join a tour is suggested.
