transportation to mt. emei.

Question

Our flight will reach Chengdu around 3.30pm on 29.12.2012. May I know is there a bus to Mt. Emei or we have to use a taxi. How much is the bus and the taxi fare? How long is the journey? Is there a muslim restaurant near the place? How much is the entrance fee to Mt. Emei? Thank you.

There are buses for Emei at that time at Xinnanmen Bus Station and the bus fare is about 45 RMB. The whole journey will cost you about 2 hours. After you reach Emei, you can find many buses for the mountain. Taxi is not suggested, because the journey will be too long and the taxi fare must be high.The entrance fare depends on when you go there. When you go there, the price is 90RMB. For the muslim restaurant, you can go to the canteen of Northwest Jiaotong University, which is just located next to Huiguo Temple near the scenic spot.
