What should do to bring my wife with me to China?

I am a private business consultant from Canada who has been asked to come to Shenzhen, China for a year to assist a company with English language training and commerce. What type of information do I require to arrange a suitable business visa with multiple entries for my wife and I to travel to China.

I think you may just apply for a L tourist visa for your wife to stay in China with you for some time.
