You can take airport shuttle bus line 6 to Baoan Bus Station to take a bus to Kuitanzhen directly.
The whole journey takes about 3.5 h.

Dear Hellen,
Thank you so much for your information, my typo error, Kuitanzhen is in Huilai, not Huilan.
Do you know the website address for the Baoan Bus Station? I want to check the take off time from Baoan to Kuitanzhen. My flight from Malaysia tough down in Shenzhen on 10:30am, bus to Kuitanzhen best to take off at 1pm. In addition, how about other long distance bus stations like Nanshan or Luohu? Is the Baoan bus station the best in term of distance from airport and service? Thank you very much.

Hi, yes, it is Huilai.
Actually, no such buses can be taken at Luohu Bus Station. At Nanshan Bus Station, only one bus for Huilai departs at 15:30. So relatively, Baoan Bus Station can be the best choice for you. The bus to Kuitanzhen are scheduled at 8:50, 11:10, 14:00, 15:55 and 16:30. Besides, you can also take a bus to Huilai there, at 7:50, 12:50 and 14:10.
Hope it help!

Dear Hellen,
Thank you so much again. Can you tell me how long it take to go to Baoan bus station by bus? Can I take subway also? Another question, is there any high speed train from Shenzhen to Xiamen. If yes, will it stop somewhere near Kuitanzhen? Thank you.

Hello again,
It takes about 30-40 min to the bus station. Surely, you can take the subway, but transference is needed and also it nees more time. So maybe the airport shuttle bus is better for you.
I'm afraid there is no direct train between the two cities, other than the high speed train. Anyway, direct long-distance bus is available at Baoan Bus Station.

Dear Hellen,
Thank you so much. Actually, I intend to visit Xiamen also in a seperate trip. Direct flight from Malaysia to Xiamen is too expensive. Is there a high speed train from SZ to Xiamen? I would like to flight to SZ which is much cheaper, then take the high speed train to Xiamen. Normal train is not suitable because it take too long to reach. Thanks.

Well, dear there is no direct trains run between the two places and the high speed train rail is under construction. It will be into use in 2013.
So maybe you need try other transport to Xiamen, such as taking Chinese domestic planes to reach Xiamen.
