Hilly Roads from Shangrila to Lijiang, Dali & Kunming

Are the roads on the trip dangerous where the tour bus needs to drive along or next to the hilly slopes?

To be frank, the road is a little dangerous. But don't worry too much! Generally, the driver can drive safely.
