Question

Hi there! We (2 austrians) are planning to go to there. Unfortunately we cant find any other austrians to obtain a group visa. Do you rhink we can get a permit for just us two in golmud? If yes how long could that take? We want then take a bus from lhasa to kathmandu!Thanks for your help!

Hi, dear. At present, the policy on the Tibet Travel Permit is stricter than before. The permit can only be issued to an organized tour group including five or more visitors with the same nationality and traveling together to Lhasa. Individual foreign visitors and groups with less than five members would be refused to enter the region now.
