Renewal of student visa

Hi .. I was student in china... My visa will expire in april 2013 .. I want to go after april, only to meet my old friends....how can i renew it from pakistan?? Which documents are required??

No, you can not renew your student visa if it expires after you finished your study in CHina. For visiting friends, you need to apply for an L visa with invitation letter from them and also copies of inviter's passport and work permit.

My friends are students... So which documents they need for initation letter?? Can you please help?? Which type of invitation letter they would need??

The invitation letter should enclose your full name, gender, date of birth, purpose of visit, date of arriving and leaving China, place of visit, relations with them, your financial support during stay in China and the inviter's name, contact number, address and signature.

If you will stay with your friend in their place, hotel reservation is not required. The information should be written in the invitation letter. Otherwise, you need to provide hotel reservation. BTW, round-trip ticket is required too.
