About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

Hi,I am an Indian Passport holder working in Japan and planning to travel to china in december.

In the Documents needed for china visa, its mentioned as one passport standard photo is needed So,can you please tell me what is this mean? i.e if i produce a normal passport size photo would it be ok? or is there any particular specification for photo(size) in china visa?
