Does an Indian national need transit visa?

Hi, I have a layover for almost 21 hours. Do I need a transit visa if I want to check into a hotel? Please advise.

If you will leave the airport transit area, you need to apply for a transit visa in advance. So, make clear that if the hotel is within the airport.
