About:Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding

visit from Beijing and the distance to Chengdu Panda Center

are there 1-2 days visits from Beijing ?

The air distance between Beijing and Chengdu is about 1600km. While the panda center is about 10km (6miles) away from downtown area. If you want to do a 1-2 days' trip from Beijing, you'd better take flight between them.
