About:Macau Visa Policy

is Australian Permanent Residence Holder (Chinese Citizen) required to apply Macau visa?

I am an Australian permanent resident but Chinese passport holder. I have got my hongkong visa, however, in sydney they don't issue macau visa. According to a notice issued in 2009, a chinese who has a 3rd country residency is not required to apply for macau visa when entering macau. Can you please confirm this for me?

I haven't heard that there is such a special rule that a chinese who has a 3rd country residency is not required to apply for macau visa when entering macau. However, if you will fly to Hk from Australia, and then to mainland China, in other words, if you fly back to China with a transit in Macau for less than 7 days, no entry permit will be required.
