Request for a Police Clearance Certificate from South Korea

I am currently living and working in China. I am a New Zealander. I lived in South Korea for 2 years previously. I am applying for immigration to Canada. I am required to submit a Police Clearance Certificate from every country I have lived in for more than 6 months. Does the Chengdu Consulate-General have facility to provide me with a Police Clearance Certificate.

You mean the Police Clearance Certificate for your living in China? You should apply for it from the local public security bureau in fact. Then you'd better have it authenticated by the Consulate of the Dominion of Canada in Chongqing as well.

Hi Hank.

I need a Police Clearance from South Korea since I lived in South Korea for more than 6 months. I would like to know if I can apply for a Police Clearance Certificate from a Korean Consulate-General in Chengdu. I will sort out my Police clearance for my time in China from the Chinese PSB. Thank you.

I don't think you can get the Police Clearance Certificate from Korean embassy or Consulate-General in China. DO you have a friend in Korea who may help to apply for it for you there?
