FAMILY "L" VISA AND WORK VISA

Hi, Please I would like to ask about something.
I am an Egyptian Married to Chinese, and I have my family "L" visa valid till 2013 April
but when i was in China I applied for a work permit and I got my ( Alien Work License Invitation letter and confirmation letter ) My Question is, ( is my recent Family visa canceled after i got the invitation letter? or I can still use it till I get my Z visa ( work visa )?
IF i did not use my work papers ( did not apply ), can i still use my valid family visa?

You can still use your present L visa until you get the Z type.

of course if you have not yet applied for the visa still your L family visa is valid until you applied and get Z visa .
