About:Guangzhou Travel Guide

Guangzhou in 1 day

Hi,

My friends and I (3 of us total) will go there at the end of the month. We cannot speak chinese. Do you think it would be fine if we just go around by ourselves and take trains going to the main tourists attractions?

Also, we would just be staying there for one day.. arrive around 1am 26 oct and depart around 8am 27 oct. We will stay at hotel in Huanshizhong road. Could you recommend us the tourist attractions that we could visit in one day? We plan to go to Yuexiu Park, Canton Tower, Shamian Island, etc.. Do you think it would be possible?

Yes, you can go around by yourselves and your plan is doable. You could take subway to those attractions.
Yuexiu Park: Take Subway Line 2 to Yuexiu Park Station. Get out from Exit B1 to the main entrance of the park. Or take Subway Line 1 to Gongyuan Qian Station then change to Line 1 to Yuexiu Park.
Canton Tower: Take subway line 3 and get off at Chigangta Station. Get out from exit A, you will find the Tower.
Shamian Island: Take Subway Line 1 to Huangsha station. Get out from Exit D and walk through an overpass to the bridge to Shamian Island.

You can take No. 1 Airport express shuttle bus to Guangzhou Railway station. Then take a taxi to your hotel. About 20*3=60 RMB.

Because 3 of you, you can taxi to your hotel about 130 RMB.
