About:China Embassy in Thailand

I've heard it's very difficult for foreign tourists to obtain a Chinese tourist visa in Bangkok.

If I show my hotel bookings for China and my roundtrip flight to Beijing, but only have a Thai non-immigrant "o" multiple entry visa (which is perfectly valid), what are my chances of being able to get it at the Chinese Embassy in Bangkok?
what document requirement do i need to show more ? Please suggest,

I've got
1. Thai non-immigrant "o" multiple entry visa (which is perfectly valid)
2. round trip air ticket
3. accommodation hotel booking

Best regards

It's said that only aliens with residence permit or work visa in Thailand can get a China visa there, but you may still have a try with your Thai non-immigrant "o" multiple entry visa.

Besides what you listed above, you also need to provide your valid passport, a fully filled application form and a recent-taken passport standard photo. Good luck!

I think the evidence is anecdotal and not clear. I'm pretty sure they are OK with applications from anyone (citizens of some countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka etc. excepted who must apply in their home countries) irrespective of Thai visa status provided the visa they are applying for is not a tourist visa.

They tend to be most strict with tourist visa applications but you can always try. You might need a bank book or bank statement though. Otherwise, Chiang Mai or Vientiane, Laos would be better places to try.
