south china normal university, outer circle university town, panyu district

Question

I am going to this school South china normal university, outer circle university town, Panyu District  Can anyone advice me how toget there by Metro or Taxi. I will be staying at the Jianguo Hotel in Tianhe. How far is this hotel to the school. Can I rent a car with Driver so It will be more convenient ? I was told its hard to get a taxi in this school to bring me back to Tianhe.  Appreciatre any good advice you can give me.

Hi, firstly, no direct subway or bus can take you from your hotel to the university. About the transport transfer, here is my suggestion: you can walk about 2-3 min to East Railway Station to take bus no. 45 and get off at Xiaozhou Station. There you need transfer to bus no. 252 to outer circle West Road Station. After that, you can walk to the campus in several minutes. If you wanna take a taxi, it may cost you about CNY 70. Actually, as the location is a little far from the city center, it might be a liitle hard to taxi from the campus to your hotel. But don't worry! You can get one!
