Confirmation letter from an authorized government organization

For F visa there is one condition of getting Original invitation or confirmation letter from an authorized government organization like the local Chinese foreign affairs office.
The company i am visiting asked me that for the letter they charge RMB1600. ($ 254). Is this what they charge?

To be frank, I don't think it will cost so much. You shoudl avoid being cheated.

Is there any other way of getting that letter directly as i have received the original invitation letter from the company. Kindly guide me as i have to purchase some products for my company.

If you havegot on invitation from a company, you can try to apply make the application with it.

Chinese company who send you invitation letter, can apply confirmation of invitation letter from there foreign affairs office. only they can help you to get official letter
