explore beijing

we'll be arriving in Beijing in the morning, and I guess we reach our hotel at lunch time...our hotel is in Xuanwu District area, which tourist spot we can visit after lunch? we want to explore the city immediately as we don't want to waste our time even we booked for 4 days..pls help...
