My boyfriend is Spanish who lives in Melbourne Australia. We are planning to visit China during the end of the year holiday. He is currently 17 years' old and will turn 18 years' old on March next year. But we are planning to go on Jan, just want to know if he can travel alone to China even though he is under 18?

As far as I know, applicants under 18 years old applying for China visa for the first time shall provide his birth certificate and parent's passport copies.
