How long it take if walking from Nanjing East Road to Yuyuan Garden?

We will be staying at SSAW Hotel. If we take Line 2 and get off at Nanjing East Road station and walk to the hotel, how long it will take? What do you suggest instead as we are carrying two suitcases.

Upon your getting off at Nanjing East Rd, it will be only about 1.8-2 km to your hotel. But as you have two suitcases, I recommend you take a cab there in about 5 min.
It is about 2.5 m from the Nanjing East Rd to Yuyuan Garden, so it needs you about 20 min or a little longer for walking.
