Planing 1 day trip to summer palace & temple of heave fr Shatan hotel. How do I go? subway or bus?

Hi, bus no. 614 can take you from the hotel to Heavenly Temple. You can walk to Shatan Lukou West Station to take the bus and get off at Hongqiao Lukou North. After that, you can reach the scenic spot by walking about 500m. It takes you about 35-40 min for the whole journey.
After visiting the temple, you can walk to the east gate of the temple to take subway line 5 and get off at Huixinxijienankou, where you need transfer to subway line 10 to Haidianhuangzhuang. Upon arriving there, you need change to take subway line 4 to Beigongmen MTR Station. Getting out of Exit D, you can walk to the palace fast.
