Well, for your journey to Shantou, you can take a direct bus at Songbai Long-distance Bus Station or Hubin Long-distance Bus Station. Many buses are in operation each day so that no need to worry about the schedule.
For the opposite journey, you can take a bus at Shantou Bus Station to your destination directly.1
