There are only silk shops for making clothes, not by meters. If you want to buy Chinese silk by the meter, I think Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province is best for you.0

You may go to Silk City on Jinxianqiao Road, West 1st Ring Road, Jinniu District. Take bus line 42, 109, 126, or 127 to Jinxianqiao Station first. Then walk north for about 100 yards to get there.1
