how do I apply for a chinese visa in India. I am from a small town 250 km due east of delhi

Hi, you can check Consular Jurisdiction of Chinese embassy and consulate carefully. If your residence belongs to New Delhi or Mumbai, your application should be lodged to the CVASC. The CVASC provides online form and post service for processing.
