About:Chinese Consulate in New York

Can a Permanent Resident of USA obtain a China Visa from the Chinese Consulate in NY, U.S.A.?

I am a permanent resident of the U.S.A. and a citizen of United Kingdom with plans to visit China in the months of October and November. Am I able to visit the Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China in New York to apply for and obtain my tourist visa?

Yes, you can apply in US. But make sure submit your application to the embassy or consulate which holds consular jurisdiction of your residency.
