Conditions on the mountain in late October

Hi, I am planning to spend 2D/1N on Mt Huashan this October, may I know what is the day and night temperature like? Could one hike in short or do I need warmth clothing? Since I need to stay overnight, is it possible to bring a backpack along? I am planning to do the plan walk, do they allow one to take backpack along? I heard there is no shower facility in the East Peak hotel, is this true? If yes, will there be water for one to do light wash up? Thanks.

The temperature on Mt. Huashan varies greatly between day and night, especially on the top of the moutain. I do suggest you take the heavy clothes like down jacket to keep warm as the temperature on the top will drop to ten below zero in the evening. Yes, you can take backpack along with you. There is no shower facility on the mountaintop but the water is available. However, I would like to remind you that the condition on the mountain is very limited and you should make some preparation beforehand.
