Hi, I will be travelling to Taipei early January 2012 with my wife and Toddler of 23 months.

Will it be too cold for my Toddler? We will be staying a night at Beitou Hot Spring a night as well, is it cooler there? Is it as cold as winter time at UK? Thx.

No. It is not too cold as the winter time at UK. The temperature is usually about 13~20C during Jan there. It is generally cool and pleasant. Sometimes, the temperature may get lower to 10C. You can prepare some warm clothing for you toddler such as wool sweater and jackets.
