Actually, subway is a nice option for you to travel around. Your hotel is near to Beixinqiao station of subway line 5. It is only about one stop to Lama Temple. Thus, you can go to Beixinqiao to take subway line 5 to Lama Temple first. After visiting Lama Temple, you can take subway line 2 to Xizhimen and transfer to subway line 4 to Beigongmen Station. Beigongmen means the North Palace Gate. Then from Summer Palace, you can go to its North Gate--Beigongmen, to take subway line 4 to Xuanwumen and transfer to subway line 2 to Chongwenmen, then take subway line 5 to Tiantan East Gate. Leave from Exit A and you'll find the East Gate of the Park of Temple of Heaven. Taxi is available, but it is expensive.
