How many hours to travel from xiamen to beijing? what train to take?

we'll going to the city this december 2012 for a holiday, and we opt to spend one day in beijing first. May I know the time schedule of fast train to beijing (vise versa). thanks!

There is only one train K308/K305 leaving for Beijing at 22:10. It takes about 33 hours. It is a long journey. I suggest you take flight between them. It only takes about 2 hours and 35 minutes.
