About:China Embassy in Thailand

About the medical certificate.

Hi, my husband and I live in Taiwan. We were wondering if we had the medical cerfiticate from a state-run hospital here in Taiwan, would the embassy accept it to process the visa? Or do we need to do it in Bangkok?

Do you mean you will travel to Thainland for work visa application? how about your status in Thailand? I am thinking if you are living in Taiwan, you should better apply in HK instead of Thailand.

Hi Aimee, we live in Taiwan but we're planning to travel to Thailand. In Thailand we want to go to China so we need to tramit a tourist visa for China (Visa class L). I was wondering if I could use a medical certificate made in Taiwan or do I need to make it in Thailand? We already have the tickets for Thailand so it's not possible for us to go to HK.

Recently, it is difficult to get visa in Thailand if you are temporary visitors there. BTW, if you are going to China for tourism only, or applying L visa, medical certificate is not required.
