About:Requirements for Permanent Residence Permit

Permanent Visa

I've been living in China since 1st April 2007, having a yearly working permit+visa.I returned to Belgium only once in 2008 with my Chinese girlfriend. Meanwhile I'm retired and will get married to my Chinese girlfriend in October this year. What kind of PERMANENT Visa can I apply?Where to apply; can I settle by e-mail/surface mail? How long is permanent? What docs should I provide?Original or copies? My visa+working permit are valid till Jan.2013,when should I start applying?

Hi, you can get married first with your girlfriend, after marriage registration in China, you are eligible to get a family visit visa or resident permit valid for a year. I don't think you can get permanent residence in China even though you have lived/worked in China for many years.
