Multiple entry Visa Application

My daughter has a student X for study. She will be leaving on 22 Sept 2012. She looks very nervous and if I decide to accompany her or go later to visit her, can I apply for a multiple entry L now? What are the documents that I need to bring? Can I leave for China immediately after obtaining the visa and air-ticket should the need arise?

You can apply for now, but I am not sure if you can get a multi entry. Documents needed are passport, application form, photo, cipies of her student visa, proof of relationship. You can leave for china once you get it.
