shenzhen airport to hong kong downtown.

Question

How do I go from Shenzhen airport to Hong Kong downtown.  Is it safe to take a taxi?  Are there any transportation that will take me acrosss the border to the airport ? Or do I need to get off at the border and take the train.  Is it safe ?  I heard the safety in Shenzhen is not as good as other Chinese cities.

There is frequent airport shuttle buses between Shenzhen airport and Hong Kong downtown such as Kowloon, so you are not necessary to take the taxi. Taking these shuttle buses, you do not need to get off at the border. It is safe to take these shuttle buses, so do not worry about it.
