Double entry visa to visit HK from China

Hi - I live in mainland china and have a double entry visa. I plan to visit hong kong for a few days and then head back to china. Will I still be able to renew my visa in Macau later on this year? I am not sure if one trip to hong kong counts as 2 entries and would use up my double entry visa? Thanks for your help!

Hi, leaving for Hong Kong counts an exit from mainland China, the second entry will be used if you return to China from HK. BTW, do you mean you have already renewed your visa once in Macao this year?

Hi - I have a 3 month double entry visa (renewed in Macau). Will I be able to visit Hong Kong and come back to mainland China then renew my visa later on in Macau - all on a double entry visa. Confused about what counts as an entry. Cheers

It's possible for you to renew yoru visa again in Macau. The entry on your China visa is calculated like this:

Macau to Mainland China - first entry
China to Hk to China - Second entry
