About:Tibet Travel Permit

I live and work in Beijing and am not a tourist - do I still need a Tibet travel permit?

I am an English teacher with a working visa living in Beijing. Even though I'm not on a tourist visa, do I still need a Tibet travel permit to travel to Lhasa?
