Hi, in the ancient China, the emperors were impacted by the Confucianism and they tried to manage their own people in a humane way so that they could keep their reign longer.
In general, the Confucianism encourage people to be kind and tolerant.
As a result, in the modern China, it becomes more and more popular. Even a lot of Confucius Institutes have been established all over the world.
The Confucinism does not influence the people, but also help Chinese culture popular thoughout the world.
