We will be there November 1st and 2nd staying at the Shangri-la or Sheraton. Can you recommend any good places to eat and what to buy and where?Thank you

Hi, for the dining places, here are my advice:Local Bravo Hotel Restaurant is located at No.14 Rong Hu South Road. It is famous for the Sichuan cuisine.Tong Lai Guan is lcoated at No. 4, Zhongshan Middle Road. There are many local snacks and traditional dishes.The Ren Chain Restaurant is the local leading caterer. The chain restaurants are spread throughout the city.Besides, there are tasty food in either Shangri La Hotel or Sheraton Hotel. So do not worry about the dining.For shopping, near Sheraton lies the Zhengyang Pedestrian. You can go there for shopping. Additionally, it is also near the Central Square, whose undereground is a goos shopping place. It is considered as Small HK for shopping.
