transportation for sightseeing in Macau

is it possible to hire a cab for 6-7 hrs for sightseeing interesting places in Macau? what would be the approximate cost.

Yes. You can, but it is expensive. Well, since Macau is not too large and many attractions are close to each other. You have no need to hire a cab. Taxi and bus are easily available in Macau.
