About:Chinese Embassy in Switzerland

Hi, I have a question about the physical examination record for a China Z visa from Switzerland

Is it possible to have this filled out by my local Doctor or do I have to have this done by a Doctor nominated from the embassy? Can I lodge a Z visa application in Zurich or do I have to go to Bern?
Thanks in advance.

If you reside in either Aargau, Appenzell Ausserhoden, Appenzell Innerhoden, Glarus, Graubunden, Luzern, Schaffhausen, Schwyz, ST. Gallen, Zug, Thurgau, Zurich, Principality of Liechtenstein, you need to submit application to consulate in Zurich. Otherwise, you should go to Bern. About physical examination record, it should be done in a hospital nominated by the embassy/consulate.

Normally, you should do the physical exam in a state-owned hospital. As for the exact list of the authorized hospitals, I'sm afraid you have to get it from the embassy directly.
