About:2025 / 2026 / 2027 Public Holiday Calendar

When would be the better time to go to Beijing, is it before or after the Mid-Autumn Festival?

We plan to go next year (2013) as our plan to go there this September(2012) is postponed. Is September 14-18, 2013 a good schedule? What would be the weather by then? Rainy or already cold? Pls. give advice on clothing to wear. Thanks.

It is before the Mid-Autumn Festival from Sept. 14~18, 2013. The weather in Sept is good for travelling. It is mild and pleasant with plenty of sunshine. The temperature is about 15~25C during this month. Long-sleeved shirts and thin coats are adequate for this period.

As you can see above, if you bother to look, it is just BEFORE mid-Autumn holiday in 2013, and generally in September the weather is quite sunny and warm. You shouldn't need thick clothes, and it certainly won't be really cold like winter unless it's a freak year. I've visited a couple of times a little later than this time of year (early October), and once it was lovely, the second a little colder, but still OK with a warm jacket, so no need to worry about very cold, winter weather.
