About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

Finnish citizen in Japan, conference and visa?

I am a Finnish citizen with a exchange student visa and alien card in Japan (living in Tokyo), and I am going to a conference in China in October, total stay 9 days. How, where, and in what form can I apply for a visa? Is it a tourist visa I need? Or a visiting visa? further, what documents are needed?

Help would be most appreciated,

Sincerely,

Tove

You need a business visa F to China if you are visiting for a conference. Your application should be lodged to Chinese embassy in Tokyo. You can handle this in person or entrust a travel agency. Make sure fill both visa application form V2011A and V2011B, invitation letter from China (the conference organizer), your Japan visa and Certificate of Alien Registration are required. Basic documents are your passport, a passport sized photo.
