bus from shenyang to tonghua / jian (jilin)

Question

I would like to know are there a long distance bus from Shenyang to Tonghua even to Jian (Jilin)?  and how many hours it takes?Do you have a bus schedule for this route? How muchI know the train use 7-8 hours and it's difficult to get the sleeper train tickets.

Hi, there are direct long-distance buses from Shenyang to Tonghua. You can take the buses at the square of the Shenyang North Railway Station. It costs about CNY 70-78 and takes about 4 h. About the bus schedule, no fixed one is provided, but the buses depart from Shenyang about every an hour.
